The final resting places of the Lancastrian leadership who died in or shortly after the Battle of Tewkesbury in 1471.
The Wars of the Roses battle field at Tewkesbury. A decisive battle, fought in 1471. The Lancastrian line ended with Edward of Lancaster's death on the field. The powerful Beaufort clan died out too. Queen Margaret viewed from a windmill behind the right flank. So she saw her son killed.
