they're not pushing Parallax on Lanterns (probably), but the gray hair on Hal is incredibly intentional. It references his most fear-driven period in comics, and like that period, Hal is completely overwhelmed by it.

Question for the table. I have to drink a dramatic amount of water to keep my muscles from feeling sore or stiff (I do a ton of stretching at well), and it's a bit of a hassle. Do you have any preferences for electrolyte powders or something similar, so that I can be more water efficient?

The perspective intersection that Black trans folk sit upon is evergreen.
trans people are expected to straddle so many contradictory positions. we must de-politicize, while acquiescing to our expediance as a political object for others. we aren't w large enough block to cater to, but our support is apparently the lynchpin upon which the Democratic party depends.

The Green Lantern comics (that I've read so far) cannot be untied from society's relationship with police. The writers try to distance themselves by a step or two by focusing on the complicated nature of the Guardians. Lanterns bend and break rules to hold superior moral ground.
