Dolly, was everything to me. From the moment I was introduced to her on that one Hannah Montana episode. Heartbreaks & sadness were never so bad when I had Dolly. Her music, her movies, all her life lessons. As a girl with big hair, big dreams, and bigger…heart, she meant the world.

This is an absolute travesty.
Northwestern has, probably, the 2nd best library collection for African History/Studies in the USA (behind Yale and ahead of MSU, UCLA, etc).
A self-inflicted wound that is absolutely, 100% unnecessary given the massive wealth of Northwestern--north of $15 billion.

Just one of the many things that UT has and continues to keep doing to suppress academic freedom. This one hits hard as Dr. Chaar López is my advisor and mentor of the past 6 years. I have grown as a scholar bc of him, and it’s his guidance that has made realize what type of academic I could be.
🚨Lauren Gutterman, former chair of the American Studies department and AAUP UT Austin Chapter VP: “Iván’s case is a warning for all faculty across the university, because it suggests that achieving excellence in your field is no longer enough to secure tenure and promotion.” ⬇️
