Fab to compere two superb acts on behalf of the Edinburgh Interfaith Association for Fringe Care Fest. Wonderful Billie Holliday and Lester Young numbers from Pitchblenders, and Latin American and global grooves from Fingertraps. This is a brilliant initiative bringing Fringe acts into care homes.

The inimitable team of Alan Cumming, Forbes Masson, Siobhan Redmond and Patrick Ryecart aboard Air Scotia flight 123. Includes utterly dreadful jokes and community singing (with bouncing ball). Will they be lost for ever in the Lower Largo Triangle? Oh dearie me!

Fantastic time at Blairgowrie's Bookmark chatting to @elainewhiteford.bsky.social about her novels "The Rescue Sisters" and "The Asylum Women". Wonderful to hear about her writing, but the time was too short - I didn't get around to asking about her scuba diving and underwater photography...

Grand day yesterday in Linlithgow. My grandfather was a proud Bl*ck B*tch (asterisks to avoid upsetting the algorithm) who was taught to swim by his father throwing him in Linlithgow Loch. Also, plaque to Lithgae's second most famous son.
