There's nothing I want more right now than to get rid of almost everything I own, load up my bike, and just take off. No clear destination, just adventure. I don't know how to do it because I will need money from time to time although I'd mostly camp, but food is money

Did a ride on the Adirondack Rail Trail during peak fall foliage. What a beautiful trail and some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.

Almost 40 miles on the bike today after buying my first bike at the beginning of Aug. New bike I've had for a week & just hit 76.7mi on it after today. Rode from Plattsburgh to Lake Alice, from Lake Alice to Point au Roche & back to Plattsburgh. Super fun adventure except the insane headwind 17+mph.

Bike commuting to work starting Monday? Most likely unless it's pouring out. That ~4 miles of ascent to work is going to suck a bit, but that ride home after work will be glorious.

🧵 I've been told I'm lazy, or I should've thought about it before going to school, or I should've gone to a trade. But, I did have it all thought out. I did have a plan. Even not completing my degree I was more than willing. But slashing the affordable options is a dick move. Go fuck yourself

I'd love to abandon everything, escape to Alaska and just leave society. Then I watch Into the Wild to remind myself that it would be the death of me. But dying of starvation in an abandoned bus 2 weeks before people discover my dead body almost sounds better than working for another 25+ years

Listened to quite a few albums last week might be the first week in a long time that I didn't get any Amenra on the list. The new Elder and new Monolord were excellent. The band Pillar of Light might have been my favorite discovery this week with Milanku and Kowloon Walled City coming in close.
