I think if DC does compact editions of the Absolute line(at there 10 dollar price point) that could really do well, surprised they haven't done it yet.

Finally was able to ask someone to lower a price on an out of print volume of George Perez Wonder Woman for a MUCH more reasonable price, so now I can try and get the other volumes(which did not have insane inflated pricing at least). This is really a series that should be in a compendium format.

I know comics has problems at times in terms of ownership, but video games and cartoons just sound insane on that front almost all the time. You spend years on a mid-big budget game/cartoon and you almost never have any rights to it after the job is done.

There is no safety net for creators/staff or fans from sexual harassment at many publishing venues, so Image secretly working with him in private for years is shocking but not surprising. Just because it's a place that publishes creative owned work doesn't mean they won't act as craven as most corps
