I don't know if I'd use the word "late", but I really like how long Metroid Dread holds back on giving you the morph ball

The way this is phrased — like getting rid of Ninja Theory was unavoidable and they did their best to make sure they could hand them off — feels particularly mealy-mouthed.

There's a lot of things I will give credit to FF7 Remake for, but one of the biggest is turning a fight that I finished in under 90 seconds into one of the best fights across both the remakes
