The BBC 10 o’clock news says the right wing idea of ethnic minorities being given preferential treatment in criminal justice is likely to become a “growing fault line in our politics” WITHOUT POINTING OUT THAT IT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. What’s the point of the news if it doesn’t correct disinformation?

I think every politician who proposes to ban anything on the internet for teens should be required to propose, as an alternate, a free and accessible and all weather space for teens to hang out in their own hometown

I've said it before but we need to somehow restore the social cost of racism. It's always been there but it's spreading at least partly because people aren't made to feel ashamed of it any more.
Restore is on 7% in that Makerfield constituency poll.

I've been seeing so many posts about stuff that supposedly neutralizes tear gas and pepper spray. For goodness sake, friends, if you aren't putting milk/liquid antacid/etc into your eyes when they are healthy, you certainly don't want them in your eyes when they're already irritated. JUST WATER.
