Stede knows, deep down, that they shouldn't be doing this. Some may say he's not in the right headspace, emotional, and yet, all he needs in this moment, all he is desperate for, is to be so impossibly close to Ed, to be held, to be comforted. He's certain though that this way is the only way he can get that comfort from someone, willingly, without asking outright for it.

It's wip wednesday and I actually have something to share for kinktober 🎉

“You didn’t like it.” It was supposed to be a question but, for whatever reason, it came out more as an accusation. Because even though he knows this shit happens all the time with people, especially middle-aged people, it's very rare it happens to guys he’s sleeping with and so yeah, fucking sue him, he's maybe taking it personally, a tiny bit. “I did, I–” Stede worries his bottom lip between his teeth, “fuck.” “Look, mate, if you don’t–” Ed sits up slightly, resting on his elbows so he doesn’t feel so awkward while he talks. “No!” Stede screeches as his hands cover Ed’s pecs and pushes him right back down again. “Look, I…” he lets out a whoosh of air, staring down at where his hands meet Ed’s chest, seeming momentarily distracted as he squidges Ed’s tits a few times before blinking rapidly and stopping his actions. His eyes remain firmly down rather than up at Ed’s face when he finally continues to talk, “I was going to tell you but then everything happened so fast–” Ed’s chest grows tight, here it is, this fucking guy is going to say he’s actually ‘straight’ and ‘still married’ and just using Ed to cheat on his wife before going home and playing happy families. He sleeps with all sorts, yes, but he absolutely draws the line at sleeping with someone still in a relationship. He feels anger bubbling up inside and is just about to buck Stede off the bed when he’s pulled abruptly from his thoughts when the other man continues to babble on. “I, uh– I struggle– with getting hard. I used to think it was down to, you know, being married to a woman and not, uh, wanting that, but then even after we split, when I tried to use my own hand, well, it made no difference. I’ve tried so many things to help, except for going to see a medical professional, but I’m still a bit too embarrassed to do that…” Well shit.
