The mainstream conventional wisdom in both cases is that people who are anti-AI or pro trans marginalized themselves by being too far outside the mainstream.
My alternative hypothesis is that both trans activists (particularly mainstream adjacent orgs) and anti-AI people were too easy to ignore.

We *are* going back. To the Civil Rights Movement, to reclaim, and then some, what’s been snatched by Nazi Republicans. To the 1/6 Insurrection, to impose consequences on the Republican traitors to the Constitution. To the DOGE incursions, the ICE invasions, all of it. We’re going back for justice.

Finished Supergirl. I’m wondering, does anyone see a coherent morality in the message that committing forever life haunting acts of murderous revenge is something to be prevented for some but allowed for others?
Started watching Supergirl last night, fell asleep halfish way through (cuz I was tired… and it wasn’t super good). I did get to the part where her companion point blank comments on the sexism inherent in the difference betwixt the Superman and Supergirl names, and Kara… just shrugs it off.
