honestly probably need to look at re-scoping this game project if i want it to go anywhere if not give up entirely

OMG. 29 years ago I put an Easter egg in Duke Nukem 3D Mac, that replaced two of the in-game posters with pictures of a couple plush animals I had. I never told anyone other than my wife about the code (DNGLENDA) and completely forgot I did this. 1/2

i do observe how many of the AI-assisted translation patches target games from already recognizable IPs, or famously sought after "holy grails" like a bounty list
meanwhile anyone who's fluent in a language is gonna have a bunch of stuff you've never even heard of that they'd love to share with you
