What I like about preprints: They don't come with any baked-in impact-factor-like imprimatur that elevates some over others.

What would be valuable: An AI-based system that learns a user's scientific questions, and converts the firehose of preprints into a gentle, personally-curated stream.

Had a nightmare that I triple-booked inpatient clinical service with a university lecture and a PhD thesis committee defense, and became aware of the conflicts the night before!

Now I'm awake and relieved this wasn't real, but have a fresh new anxiety that I might do this some day! 😅
