While T. Fitzgerald diluted PhantomManor’s story to mirror his Haunted Mansion nostalgia, M. Den Dulk is restoring Space Mountain’s original storyline, done by others.

It’s the right move but a very brave choice in creative industries where designers like to leave their mark. Consistency over ego.👏

Just finished reading "The Imagineering Story" book, and here is the real answer: You *need* to know someone at WDI or in Hollywood to become an imagineer. A friend, a relative, a neighbor, your dad... You wouldn't believe how many high-profile Imagineers got their jobs at WDI through nepotism.

Of all the clothing lines Imagineering could copy, they really went with the blandest straight male fashion brand in the world

I guess there is just no middle ground at Universal parks between attractions so revolutionary they're redefining the whole industry, and Six Flags-style slabs of concrete with flat rides, giant switchback lines and a couple of static character figures.

Do we realize how exciting the near future of European theme parks looks??

Up next on the chopping block : Vampire at Walibi Belgium. Final ride October 2027. Will be replaced with something else, afterwards.

Too long. I'm just gonna call it Universal London already.

Such a missed opportunity to use the one hand gesture everyone associates with rock concerts 🤘

I have a theory why Disney didn’t use it in 2026 America though 🫩

If your theme park looks like this, I’m not visiting.
Am I being too harsh?

For the first time in forever, the new additions at Disneyland Paris don’t feel like they’re going to need massive, expensive fixes sooner or later 🥲

Rich theming, elegant placemaking, large scale rockwork, tons of seating, custom music, animatronics…

Aside from covered spaces for rainy days, World of Frozen and Adventure Way feel like the most “EuroDisney” addition DLP has opened since Tower of Terror and Space Mountain👏
