When we know a couple breaks up, we will tell ppl they are missing out & encourage them to work it out, based on our own observations of the. Whole time, you have no real clue what folks were going through because they did not bring outsiders into their business.

I think the oddest interactions is telling someone who constantly provides that you are gifting them something. Giving them the expectation & you never doing it or doing half of what you said.

Flaw 2: Patience isn’t the flaw. Staying silent until resentment speaks for you is. Patience has boundaries; suppression only postpones them.

Flaw 2: I often talk about my flaws as ‘eldest daughter woes’, that’s only a lighthearted term, but plainly these are flaws‼️ And this here ain’t nothing but overfunctioning disguised as responsibility. Eeeyuck‼️ They’ll learn I’ll take over, and I learn I can’t trust anyone enough to let go.

A man who thinks he has something to prove, as if there’s some competition between him & his woman, is alarming. But in seeing these memes & commentary, I commend couples who thrive & are at peace with her being more formally educated or the breadwinner without it becoming a threat to his manhood.

People want to be taken care of. Not just women, men too. I can bear witness. And that’s FINE. If you want to be taken care of you need to also have the capacity to take care of your partner (mutual effort) or BE HONEST AND UPFRONT from the beginning so the other can make an informed decision.

Women are reciprocators. Yet I am an initiator as I am a giver & a caretaker.
My relationship problems are often situational. Me as a giver needs to be with another giver. Givers who want mutual effort will always have that as the HEAVIEST problem in the relationship.
