Two points spring to mind:
1. As it is for pistols, the use of leg-hold traps is prohibited in the UK. Possession of a pistol is an offence; possession of a leg-hold trap is not. Why?
2. Do the police ever look for human DNA on equipment used for the illegal killing of wildlife? If not, why not?
