Messed my leg up pretty bad and had to start taking some strong antibiotics over the weekend so been feeling pretty rough. Seeing the crazy response that the Goop animation has gotten has definitely helped though! Thanks for all the kind comments and sorry if haven't been able reply to them all! 💙

It's all rendered! The full runtime is just shy of 12min! Man how pissed is everyone going to be when they realise it's all just like 3 short animation cycles looped at varying speeds for the entire duration...

First pass of animation complete! The full thing ended up being over 10min in length which is great and all but the prospect of having to source and edit 10 mins of vocal samples/SFX is rapidly increasing my burnout meter... 🫠

Here's a full body dynamic jiggle rig that uses a single cloth sim driven by dynamically blending multiple vertex groups. Capable of self collision, sudden growth spurts and changes in pressure influence the surrounding geometry with realistic shifting weight. In other words: it go BLORP and BLOMPH.

Part 1 of the animation I've been working on should be out sometime tomorrow! Just a few little audio edits left to do. In the mean time here's a look at the full environment I made. I wonder if she'll be able to get big enough to fill it all... 🤔

One 26hr render later and I'm very happy with the results even though there's a ton of of little issues I'll need to go back and fix. The most pressing one seems to be a setting I overlooked that made her way more sweaty than intended 😅💦

Final animation pass is done! After years of learning Blender and too many half finished experiments it feels so good to finally hit render on an actual, legit, proper 3min long animation! Can't wait to see how it turns out... in 18 hrs... 🫠
