Funny Angela Rayner saying she’s been cleared by HMRC over her tax manoeuvres … of course she has. She had to pay them £40,000 in unpaid stamp duty. I’m tired of politicians playing saints, and scavenging for positions, money in their pockets than anything else.

Remember that we have elections in Scotland and Wales tomorrow, and don't let anyone put you off voting by telling you that it's meaningless or 'boring'. There could be a political earthquake in Wales this time around, and Scotland doesn't need people dismissing its outcome. 🗳️

An explainer article I publish last week explaining the Adicional Member System in Scotland’s electoral system.
In it, if a specific party does very well in the constituency vote, it is much less likely to get a regional seat, so the final vote gets balanced.

This is a must read from @drpam.bsky.social ! In my opinion, I like what Greens are proposing. I have my doubts about the curriculum for excellence. I am glad Dr Pam raised a doubt about it. Giving Head Teachers liberty to 'design' the strategy of the course is not good, in my experience (1)

Oh Anas Sarwar from @scottishlabour.bsky.social stop saying you have experience with NHS! You’ve worked in dentistry, a micro part of the NHS and even so, at your time it didn’t have a fraction of problems compared to the last years! Why don’t you go back to ‘your NHS’ then?!
