I have opinions on matters of varying importance
I still have this sneaking suspicion that this fuck-up was the part of the Ocean’s 11 October Surprise where the plan malfunctions on purpose to throw the mark off guard

But that seems so unlikely and is probably just competen past ratfuckery rustling my jimmies

David, if I may, how bout Bland Monopoly Studios

It’s great because you can refer to anything you shit out as BMS
I know Variety/Hollywood Reporter/Indiewire/Deadline (and The Golden Globes/GoldDerby) are all owned by the same company, and they basically live off of "For Your Consideration" ads bought by studios, but sometimes some good writing+reporting comes out of those outlets.

But not today.

This movie ends up being much more about a renegade HAL9000-esque security system, an old guy who's whining about not being in charge anymore, and a painfully awkward love triangle than it is about the hurricane or the nuclear facility.

I think this may be for the better?
Nuclear Hurricane (2007)

I'm a hard worker and right now I can barely pay rent *and* am going out of my mind with boredom and the waiting.

Thank you

the thing is

like

public health
child literacy
civil rights
social justice
rural poverty

once you personally have become rich and successful, those things only matter if you still have the capacity to care deeply about people outside your immediate circle

and that is harder than becoming rich
