Great to see this fine gallimaufry celebrating the centenary of MacDiarmid’s monumental Drunk Man. I wrote more extensively about this poem elsewhere, but here’s also a wee Franco-Scottish variation on the poem, which summarises in a few lines much of my thinking on the matter!
