@solarunitedneighbors.org has been doing group solar buys for a long time. Now they are getting a boost from a partnership with the State of Virginia. The numbers are much bigger! We might need more celebrity endorsements to reach bigger audiences.

Very nice Sankey diagram of US trade flows for goods and services. I'm not sure why we're mad at Canada, since our net trade deficit is only $35b. Mexico and South Korea are much larger. Though I'd like to see this viz with more countries.

Tesla ran through its entire share of California’s new MyFirstEV rebate program in just five days.. The rebate only went live for Tesla buyers on August 3.
Buyers claimed roughly half of Tesla’s allocation in the first three days and drained the rest by August 8, spending an estimated $18 million in state and matching rebates on Tesla vehicles alone.
