In spite of the constant fearmongering from some online voices, Russia won't use nukes because its primary principal partner, China, doesn't want to rule over the ashes of an empire. The plan isn't to destroy the world, it's to destroy American hegemony. You don't need nukes for that.
There is no indication Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, and key partners including China and India have warned Putin strongly against any such move. - Bloomberg

It's astounding how wildly incompetent the West's response to Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine has been. We had 4.5 years, majority under a Ukraine-friendly American administration, to scale up pac-2/3 production and just didn't.

The DSA's stance on Ukraine is so genuinely weak ass terrible that I probably wouldn't vote for AOC in a primary just because of the risk that one of the all-star nutters gets within a mile of a NATSEC position. I know she knows that's a perception issue, and idk how she fixes it tbh.
