This basically matches my vibes-based estimates. Seems totally fair.
Our forecast still gives Sen. Mike Rounds a 95% chance to win, but South Dakota U.S. Senate has shifted to Likely R, joining Florida, Mississippi and South Carolina. SC is nearing Lean R, with Darlene Graham at 81%. Republicans win all four in the vast majority of simulations.

Update of ncearly.peark.es after day 2 of early vote. A better day for Republicans but they’re still way behind Dem/Unaf bogies. While Ds are crushing their 2022 benchmark on a same-voter basis, Rs are lagging. Modeled low propensity voters are turning out huge for D, weak for R, & strong for Unaf.

It's fair to point out that Rubio's 99-0 confirmation vote was an unnecessary preemptive surrender (and a stupid accommodation to Senate "comity"), but at the same time, he's been WAY worse than even the pessimists would have predicted. World historic levels of bad.

Since I've gotten two [very different] requests for CLT reccs in the past 24h, I'll pass them on to you people. First is booze-first, second is higher-end resto reccs (Counter is the obvious top of the list but they're booked out for months and months plus price tag is...eye-watering).

Speaking purely from the perspective of "what income finances savings and consumption" I am sympathetic to the view that "living paycheck to paycheck" means something very different from the vernacular. But Ned is *clearly* correct here on the vernacular.
I think the real finding from surveys like this is that a lot of self-pitying rich people don't know what "paycheck to paycheck" means. If you are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars annually on voluntary expenditures like prep school tuition, you don't count. finance.yahoo.com/economy/arti...
