Trip out to Colwyn Bay in #NorthWales to see the Terry Jones statue and it's just as wonderful as I'd hoped ❤️

So many details in the statue relating to different aspects of his life and work. Plenty of people seemed to have come to see it, just as many surprised by it 😁

Day 18 - 2001-2002

Say Hello Wave Goodbye by Marc Almond with Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Band

Incredible performance of a great song. I prefer this version, it feels like the big band sound gives the vocals a lot more depth to inhabit.

Still enjoying this, even if I'm still only middling in a lot of my knowledge. Think I'm starting to pick some things up though ☺️

This is something I always struggle to articulate. I keep feeling like I'm insulting those I'm explaining it too and saying I find them, personally, exhausting.
Being an introvert means getting drained by people… even the ones you like. You can love someone’s company, have a great time with them, and still reach a point where your social battery is completely gone and you just need to leave

Reform are all smiles when people defect to them, but really do put out the pouty lip and winge when someone leaves them
Sounds like Cooper-Lesadd was trying to engage with the democratic process and other MS's. Reform didn't like it, so she jumped before she was pushed

Sorry, but he's just completely wrong.

I spent 8 years living in a village in the middle of nowhere not far from an immigration detention centre. On one evening I was locking up the pub (for clarity I worked there I hadn’t just broken into it)

Two men appeared from the pub car park shadows. They were walking slowly towards me

I'm always happy to see the wheels continue to come off for Reform in Wales (and the UK as a whole)
Especially when it's because people see what their aims really are.

Politically, Sarah Cooper-Lesadd has moved from the Conservatives, to Reform, and now to Plaid. I hope this is a truer fit for her.
