OF has claimed since the beginning that they are primarily not for sex. I have no idea what their original intent was, I can only say that even from the start they charged a commission that was competitive for porn and a ripoff compares to Patreon etc.

There is always gonna be the guy who makes the funny videos that play on porn titles but aren’t porn or Cardi B’s very tame OnlyFans etc etc etc. But a Pornhub or an OF is not going to be able to pivot to “not porn” when TikTok and IG and YouTube already exist.

This is why we are probably in another "dark age" because so much of what is being done/written is going to melt away with link rot, storage decay, and media being in non-retrievable formats.

I keep thinking about investigations I've done and going to look for them -- not just about rape, but about things like a woman with a delusional pregnancy that had me in the rarely-seen courtroom at Bellevue Hospital -- it just goes on and on, and they are all fucking gone. I'm astonished.

Yep. Plaintiff has to prove "actual malice," meaning the defendant knew the statements made were false at the time they were said or had serious doubts about their truthfulness. Very challenging to meet.
