Week 6. Three of the four crosses have a front-runner now. The fourth is still an argument.

The loudest nose in the tent sits on the smallest plant in its line. The best structure carries a middling nose.

You don't get to pick on one column.

Week 6 done. Day 42.

Peak bulk — colas that were airy a fortnight ago have filled in and stacked. Frost across all four crosses now.

Last feed went in on the 19th. From here it runs on what's in the pot and what the plant pulls back out of its own leaves.

Day 22 of 70. Rodney doesn't hand out verdicts this early.

But WI5 went from "sour but not much more" in August to "fake candy watermelon, super loud" today — read dry both times, same half hour, both before water.

Nose is critical. It's also one column of many. 👁️🕶️

six cuttings died this round. five were the same line — the other four lines lost nothing, same tray, same conditions.

not position either: four of the six were interior cells, not edge.

closed the clone tray this week. 64 cuttings in, one rooted keeper per pheno out, the rest discarded.

16 cups on a rack. no backups, no spares.

everything in the flowering tent is a test. the rack is the actual crop. 👁️🕶️

metered the tent after the cull. two corners read 18-20 DLI, the middle reads 34.

a dimmer can't fix it — flat multiplier. lift the corners into band, you blow the peak out.

twelve just left, so the bad seats can be the empty ones. 👁️🕶️

The lights went to 12/12 over the weekend.

Thirty-two plants, and not one of them has declared yet. Over the next three weeks about half will show male and come out — each taking its two clones with it.

This is the last frame of all of them.

so everything got cloned, and everything flips. the culling happens plant by plant through the first weeks of flower, as they finally show.

week seven. tied the tops out toward the edges thursday night and opened the canopy up over the pots.

seventeen hours later every tip was vertical again and the middle had closed.
