The fact that this is the line they have been pushing for the past few months is extremely disturbing. Can't wait to be the first nation with no public healthcare and no private healthcare either! Hospitals will all close and if you get sick you will just be expected to die about it.

finally watched this on the 4K. Totally worth the hype. Not the scariest nor even really best of the year, but 2026 has been a shockingly great year for movies so that's not a big diss. Builds a really effective atmosphere and Inde Navarette's performance is iconic and unsettling as fuck. Solid 9/10

The right to redemption for delinquent property taxes on this long-closed euro shop in Calumet Park expires on the 28th, and the property owner will lose ownership during a court hearing on July 10th. This scene - a lot full of rotting cars that were once exotic status symbols - may soon disappear.

My favorite modern superhero movie remains BATMAN RETURNS because it hits that sweet spot of being comic booky without being chained to the comics. A little twisted, a little funny. And it teases a sequel, sure, but it never feels like they are holding back the good stuff. It shoots its shot

Why didn't they do this with DVDs. We were robbed of the 8GB single layer and 16GB dual layer DVD Plus or whatever.
While I'm at it, we were also robbed of rewritable dual-layer DVD+Rs. They almost made them but they never came to market.

They did the trick that was done with CDs in the past - bringing the maximum capacity up by squeezing the tracks narrower together and making the drives more precise in turn. 50GB dual-layer blu-rays became 66GB dual-layer 4Ks, and then they added 3-layer 100GB discs.
