No family should have to jump through hoops to get funded childcare. We’ll tax wealth fairly to make sure every kid in Scotland gets funded hours from 6 months up - no means testing, no tax-free top ups, just high quality education for all
Early years education is a fundamental good for families and for societies.
We would provide:
🟢 570 hours of funded childcare for every child aged 6 months to 2 years
🟢 1140 hours for all 2 year olds

No family should have to jump through hoops to get funded childcare. We’ll tax wealth fairly to make sure every kid in Scotland gets funded hours from 6 months up - no means testing, no tax-free top ups, just high quality education for all
