If you couldn’t get on our tasting last Sunday and a lot of you couldn’t- you can still buy the beer.
Original brew plus 2 BA versions (Rioja and rum). A reminder if you buy 6 of anything (mixed or otherwise) there’s a 15% discount. you cant buy the BA versions anywhere else!

What a good start to the weekend. Bursting to tell you that not only are we still in the @CAMRA_Official Good Beer Guide, but our sister pub @TheCrownInnSP is also in for the 1st time, 12 months after being a shut pub. Thanks to the Camra members who voted for us.

Bugatti chassis taking shape now with the diff and gear box mated via the drive shaft. Engine block is built but I have some great pics of a T35 engine which will be excellent for weathering tips #histscalemodels

A swift apology about our closure yesterday. It was a favour to a regular customer to hold his wedding celebrations at the Tap. We did publicise this well in advance to try to make sure everyone was aware. It’s not something we’re going to be doing regularly!

Whilst we’re waiting for #italiaGB I thought I’d share my 1st attempt at a diorama. This was a winter project from 2 years ago. I had 3 Revival kits which needed a home and for the price they don’t always fit that well
The case is 24” wide x 12” high
I also built a Revival engine & built a pallet

A reduction in bus rates will be good. However, energy costs are a much bigger drag on hospitality. Our home electric bill is £80/month we cook, boil the kettle, have 3 fridges (I know) and a freezer. The same bill at the Tap is £750 a month- fridges, cellar cooler, pie warmer, explain it to me!
