I really hope that GTA VI doesn’t try to establish GTA and RDR as being set in the same universe. Up til now the writers have been very deliberate in keeping them separate (easter eggs and silly non-canon GTA Online things notwithstanding) and I like it that way. They don’t suit each other.

Disappointed that everybody is just doing a hat. Why isn’t anybody baking a cookie cravat? Why can’t someone do a tiramisu t-shirt? Give me a pair of brioche brogues or a jaconde jacket for god’s sake.

spent the entire day today running gigabit ethernet from one corner of the house to the other. i hate living in a rental. pinning it up over door frames and along picture rails sucks. if i owned my home i'd do it properly, in the wall/ceiling cavity. but it's done and streams won't crash any more!

that said, if you already have a Blue Yeti and you want to improve the sound of your recordings, don't buy a new microphone - treat your space properly instead, build a real booth. the best microphone in the world in an untreated room will sound worse than a Yeti in a great booth.

i get the impression that it's somehow unfashionable to shit on the blue yeti these days. well, it still sucks, so i'm gonna keep shitting on it. it belongs in the same category as foam tiles from amazon of things that you only buy because you don't know any better.

I need a producer or something. Someone to organise my work, do research, keep me on-task and accountable, advice on analysis and marketing. Someone with experience in my specific niche and who knows what works and what doesn’t. Is there such a person?

can't believe i slept on Granny Smith apples my whole life. i've been wasting my time with Braeburn and Jazz, when only like 1 in 4 of those are actually what i want. every single Granny Smith i've had is my perfect apple. the crispness and the tartness of them! god they're so good.

i don't trust people who flex about how long they've been doing something as the reason you should trust their guidance on that thing. often i find they've just been doing it badly and building bad habits all that time.

i don’t understand voice actors who sell their services as a “coach” when they, themselves, are not that successful. presumably they do whatever they’d advise clients to do, and it hasn’t worked for them. why should anybody take advice from them when they do not have a track record of success?

the steam machine pricing was terrible, but the steam frame might be even worse. barely any faster or higher resolution than the meta quest 3, and over £300 more expensive. god this sucks

why is it SO common for youtubers to make the music in their videos so loud that you can barely hear what they’re saying? unbearable shit man. i have no patience for stupid mistakes like that
