Mdina, Malta’s ancient "Silent City", a fortified medieval hilltop citadel in which little gems are hidden down the lanes that run off the main thoroughfares. I spent the morning wandering around often going back to the same spots to see how the sun changed the lanes as it passed over the walls

General Tam’s Folly - Binns Tower at House of the Binns, West Lothian, Scotland - standing proud over a field of rapeseed *honest edit - despite best efforts of NTS the Saltire always blows away on the tower, anyone who has been there will know why 🌬️😂 so I added one in edit *

Spitfire 90th Anniversary Circumnavigation - K5054 (BS410) dipping its wings as it flew over the Forth Bridge, Scotland today. A blustery squall hit just as the spitfire arrived. Kudos to the pilot for taking the detour as the easier option would've been to just head north with a decent tail wind.
