🌿🐇Lady of Hares: Spring🐇🌿
I couldn't originally decide on a colour palette for this illustration, so I decided to do two! I like that they have a very different feeling to each other even though they're the same base drawing.

🍂🐇Lady of Hares: Sunset🐇🍂
An illustration I completed a few weeks back! I wanted something that felt somewhere between a folk-art style and something art nouveau. The border is inspired by a pattern carved on the Nigg Stone (a very beautiful Pictish carved stone, look it up!)
A mostly symmetrical illustration of a goddess-like woman in a brown dress and short cape. She holds a shining golden stylised hare in her arms, and wears an oak-leaf crown. Her hair splays out behind her and she stands in front of dark fields and a red sky with a golden sun radiating sun rays out from behind her head. On either side of the woman are leafy branches. The image has a decorative red border with a pattern inspired by one of the patterns carved on the Pictish Nigg Stone in Scotland. Two stylised hares leap towards the centre bottom of the picture.

They fired so many artists over this too. People who helped make the game iconic were tossed out on the street because the Slop Faucet could do it "decent enough".

Finally trying to catch up on my webcomic 😭
It's been a while since I've been able to work on it properly but I'm determined to plough through this first chapter and get it launched this year 💪
An excerpt of a comic page. There are four panels visible, depicting a young woman in vaguely viking-inspired fantasy dress with a braid and an older woman sitting opposite each other on either side of a fire inside a wooden cabin. The top panel has dialogue coming from the outside door saying "knock knock! anyone home?". The second panel shows the younger woman getting up from the floor and saying "coming!" in one coloured speech bubble and "That'll be Aemi." in a different coloured speech bubble to indicate she is speaking two separate languages depending on which character she is addressing. Panel 3 is a closeup of the older woman's face looking displeased. Dialogue: "Tch. Insufferable girl. Always interrupting!". Panel 4 shows the younger woman addressing her.
