Not just any baccalaureate. A B. Sc. in Economics! 😆🤣
This man has a baccalaureate degree from the Wharton school of business, and I have some questions for the Wharton people
Trump: "If we lose $50 billion a year with a country, and we say 'we're not going to trade with you anymore,' we don't lose $50 billion a year. It's very simple. Right?"

I thought only MBAs graduate from the Wharton School. Trump graduated from Penn while taking a few undergrad business courses at Wharton for the two years he was there.

A recent report out of MIT said A.I. is triggering “cognitive surrender” in students. Many university leaders are embracing the technology with enthusiasm anyway.
Universities Sound Warnings About A.I. Even as They Embrace It
As A.I. upends education, university leaders have been all over the map about how to respond. It can be very confusing for students.

The kids in the Texas Longhorns student section understand what America is better than Bo French ever will.

And a political movement that looks at those beaming faces and sees a threat has told you everything you need to know about what’s actually in its heart. (Link below)

This is why Trump can’t stand Black women. They don’t take his shit.

Let’s appreciate Rep. Joyce Beatty for being the fighter we need.

Trump: “I think you’re incompetent.”

Beatty: “I know you’re incompetent.”

Then she reminded him: “You had more bankruptcies than anybody in the room.” 🔥

116 years ago today, she made aviation history.

On September 16, 1910, Bessica Raiche made the first accredited solo airplane flight by a woman in the United States.

She helped build the plane in her living room. On top of that, she was a physician.

CBO analysis: The Iran war has cost the U.S. $38 billion as of August 1.

That’s >$246 million per day, on average.

CBO says the war has raised inflation and global energy prices, citing reduced traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, and says it’ll raise interest rates on treasuries.

🚨IT BEGINS: Costco is now rationing Kirkland motor oil. A 10-quart pack that once cost as little as $30 is now nearly $58, and members are limited to two every seven days due to the impacts of the Iran War.

Imagine having grifted millions and millions of dollars off your father’s political career like Don Jr, including government contracts in multiple businesses where you have an ownership stake, and STILL having a Russian oligarch pay for your lavish wedding. Just obscene.

Under the Trump administration, the E.P.A. has stopped estimating the public health benefits of reducing pollution in the cost-benefit analyses necessary for clean-air regulations. Instead, the agency has estimated only the costs to businesses of complying with the rules.

If Sam Altman, Dario Amodei, and Elon Musk all agree that we have to slow down - and now - something serious clearly happened with a frontier AI model.

Journalists should be digging in to this. We aren’t getting the whole story here.

Beware of anyone who is wistful about the aftermath of 9/11. It was a trauma blender of shock, grief, blood thirst, and racism— and it ushered in our surveillance state.
But that feeling of a shared bond among all Americans in the early weeks after the attack is something I’m so glad I got to experience. Because it’s the thing that I think we’re missing the most today.

So (if I understand this correctly), the way AI (companies) will "solve" all the major problems in maths, biology, and medicine in the next 5 years will be by stealing and building on the ideas of researchers naive enough to think their chats with AI companies would be private.
