I'd love to say I hope everyone lands on their feet every time there are layoffs in games media, but there's quite literally nowhere out there to land. I, of course, wish nothing but luck to everyone, but we desperately need to address the core issue of sustainable jobs in this space.

On top of everything, last night a guy tried for over 20 mins to break into my apartment and continued trying the entire time I was waiting for police to arrive, really scary situation... whoever put a curse on me needs to realize they've won already and leave me alone 😅

Back in my old hometown of Modesto, CA for my mom's funeral 😓 it's hard being "home" like this and mom not being here... writing her obituary was also really hard

I was laid off from Restart today, alongside my wonderful and talented co-workers. Sucks to write, but here we are.

GTA 6 feels less like a game and more some kind of totem for a certain kind of dying gamer identity, that cannot economically or culturally sustain itself anymore. it represents a million different things and seemingly the least important of them is that it is an open world mission based video game

I found out this morning that my mom passed away. We didn't have the best relationship and it's really eating at me. Despite everything, I loved my mom. She was my only parent growing up, and she did the very best she could for me. It's going to be really hard moving forward in life without her.
