I recently learned that “spooky” was used as a slur against Black airmen during WW2 as “Spookwaffe” where “waffe” is German for weapon. NPR and numerous pubs wrote about this a lot in the last decade, AND YET!
i wish yall would stop using the term spooky

I swear to god this is a plot from a Hallmark.
Selected a plumber online because he looked amazingly handsome on his website. He turned up on time, was friendly and professional, did a great job... and gave me a discount for taking an extra hour. I now feel incredibly shallow, and possibly in love.

reynisima on IG said if they ever went on a date w/ a man again, their very first question will be, “So what do you think happened at Cornell?” My follow up question, “And if you were on the group chat?”

You can ask this question to ANYONE & their response will tell you everything you need to know.

Mr Lisa and I are watching Love is Blind: Netherlands. In every iteration (which we watch), everyone is dressed to the nines. You’re not seeing your dates so why slap on the spackle? But I get you’re on TV so look your best but if it were me, I wiuld be super comfortable and wear lipstick.

Seen buzzing about Tweet's ToS & AI, I investigated and under section 5. Your Content; they have 2 paragraphs dedicated to Tweet's use of AI on your content.

I have 2 tweets over there. I'll probably not use Tweet again unless they change their ToS (unlikely). This is why we can't have nice things.

Interesting convo in a community I am in for a podcast speculated the hosts were making zillions based on membership numbers. I scanned the data and even if 1/4 of the numbers were true, it’s…a lot of money. Like life saving money. And it’s kinda gross, actually.

TIL the other day: The unaroused vagina is 3-4” deep. An aroused vagina is 4-8” deep. Good job everyone on writing eggplant sized dicks. Keep at it. ❤️

I will not be intimidated, bullied, condescend to, or pushed to do things I don't want to do. If anyone attempts this with me, I will dig my heels in and fight back until my last breath (even if I'm in the wrong). I will not stand for being treated like a lesser than.

I'm Founder #5694 (@heroineinabook) over on tweet.app. This reminds me of the early flex of when you got on Twitter (August 2007) or ICQ (I was in the low 100Ks).

Following my own advice I give my patrons and deleted social media accounts I no longer used for both personal and NGI related. I have a list of all the accounts (past and current) for each thing so I know whether or not I'm on said platform.

I do love cleaning all the things.

I know that even though I brought receipts, my post is in the void on the spreading of the misinformation of Meta, AI, and ToS.

No one actually gives a shit about truth when scaremongering and misinformation is much sexier.

My librarian skills have found that Meta’s “update to include AI what’s it” is MISINFORMATION. The latest update is their early access program terms (www.meta.com/legal/early-...). Their ToS has not been updated since January 3025 (www.facebook.com/terms/).

Stop spreading shit!

People clutching pearls about iced coffees and interviews know that potential employers most of the time offer you something to drink before you interview?

People are idiots.

I’m sure this going to be a multi post rant, which is fine. I haven’t gotten riled up about something in a while.

I am reading a murder mystery set in late Elizabethan England (1580s). I couldn’t remember the exact year so I hied thee to Goodreads (1585). This is an ARC so I scanned reviews.
