Has to cut day 1 of the anniversary stream short due to storms and losing power. Thankfully my UPS kept things running long enough to let everyone know what happened, sign off properly, save my progress, and shut down my computer safely.

I'm getting really pissed off at my Pixel 9 Pro XL's battery life. I've been unplugged for less than 6 hours, and with barely anything more than some Spotify streaming, I'm at 53% battery.
Some days, I wonder if I should have left Samsung.

Headed to DC for a short work trip. It was just announced that my Amtrak train is "rescuing" a cancelled train in Philadelphia. 200+ additional passengers boarding at the next stop.

This little guy spent 5 years living at a rescue after being surrendered by his family for being too loud (purring). Several adoption attempts fell through because he was "timid and shy".
He's been with us in his forever home since April. His sister even tolerated him (only when we're not looking).

1 year and ~100 lbs. lighter (only 2 of those are from the beard). Feeling pretty damn good already, but I'm not about to stop now! 5-6 days a week in the gym since May.
