1. Stop printing outright lies in your headlines and posts

2. As always, anyone who is mad about this should first scream at the leafy suburbs that are spending way more than $42K per kid to educate student populations that are <10% socioeconomically disadvantaged and 0% developing multilingual
At IKEA and they just activated a missing child alert and every single staff person knew their role and took it very seriously, I am super impressed. The kid was almost immediately found and reunited with his family 👍🏻🇸🇪

Private carting and construction trucks are a giant safety risk to pedestrians and bikers and should be limited to driving no more than 5 mph in New York City. These are “when” not “if” crashes

NYCPS is spending $2,220,180,000 on busing alone this school year

That works out to a preposterous $14,801 per bused child, and the level of service is intolerably bad

Lease their families a car, have the MTA take over the system, do literally anything else!

I'm proud to announce that we secured $351 million for flood prevention in The Bronx and Queens in the Water Resources Development Act.

This funding will go directly toward projects that will protect our community from flash floods.

The most depressing outcome from my time as a parent leader advocating for admissions reforms to make middle and high schools more uniformly accessible was watching “nice, liberal” parents team up with rabid racists and transphobes to protect the status quo.
I’m excited to share that

ChipPurr Jones was the runaway answer and the kitten (with the help of treats) threw out the first pitch ☺️

The New York Times has always hated Kathy Hochul because she came from far outside downstate and even where downstaters own weekend houses. They like Bruce Blakeman’s stances on taxation and locking people up and they want him to win, so they publish pieces like this

What an absolutely incredible time to be alive if you drive in NYC and like to go 50+ mph on local/side/CBD streets, 100+ mph on parkways/highways, flagrantly run reds and stop signs, and drive or park on sidewalks, bike lanes, and park drives—all while texting and with a fake/obscured tag of course
