At IKEA and they just activated a missing child alert and every single staff person knew their role and took it very seriously, I am super impressed. The kid was almost immediately found and reunited with his family 👍🏻🇸🇪

Private carting and construction trucks are a giant safety risk to pedestrians and bikers and should be limited to driving no more than 5 mph in New York City. These are “when” not “if” crashes

That works out to a preposterous $14,801 per bused child, and the level of service is intolerably bad

It tells you all you need to know about the role of policing in general that the people who are constantly shrieking about low-level crime and homelessness and bike lanes (lol) as intolerable intrusions on our quality of life have no problem with this
