Need more time to polish your work? Already submitted and want to make some edits? Send it in before we are done uploading Volume 1 it'll be included and shared at commencement in December! If not, it'll go in Volume 2 (March deadline, published in May).

Mementos of a failed unionization campaign at Hampshire College.

Salaries were literally always an afterthought. College budgeted for other things, then considered how to apply remainder to pay. Salaries were always behind those of the consortium and then even national cohorts.

Checking in, tho I never use this thing. I know you all heard about the demise of Hampshire College two months ago, but maybe you didn't know that was where I worked. I've been really heartbroken over it all; I loved my students and don't think I can ever be happy teaching anywhere else after that.

My career in sustainable agriculture and as a researcher traces back to Hampshire courses and projects, to the Farm Center and to the Community Garden, as well as 5 College Consortium courses and so much that it provided culturally. #HampshireCollege
