Democratic voters still care about the longstanding kitchen-table issues—affordability, health care costs, etc.—but a Democratic candidate for POTUS who runs on “There will be consequences for Donald Trump’s and his underlings’ abuses of power” has their finger on the pulse of the Democratic Party.
Authoritarian abuses depend on willing underlings. This should be met with professional sanctions and disbarment, civil lawsuits, hauling Pirro/Burgum in to testify under oath.
Dems should send a clear signal to enablers: Accountability is waiting on the other side.

I hope when we wake up tomorrow (for those of us that can sleep through tonight) that this insane POTUS will not have unleashed nuclear weapons on Iran. If that were to happen, the world we have known up until that moment will have changed in a heartbeat and nothing will ever be the same.
