Just kinda hanging out and not stressing this terrible White Sox September. Make the playoffs, hope for the best; it's been a free-money season. Which doesn't make this collapse feel GOOD, but I'm trying to remind myself of what this season actually has been.

As a lifelong comic nerd who loves Green Lantern, I have to be honest that I wish Lanterns were ... different. I'm not saying "better," because it's very good, just different. Also, I wish it wasn't so ugly to look at, but that's more of a modern film/TV issue than anything specific to the show.

One thing I'm comfortable saying is that I don't really see the value of debating "is a bigot" vs. "is engaging in bigotry." I'm fine treating them as one in the same, personally.
i don't believe talarico is a bigot. im pretty sure he isnt. but if he apparently "has to" answer bad faith questions in a way that appears to compromise on the rights of one group of people being repressed to get elected, it's fair to ask what else he will "have to" do once he's in office
