***URGENT PLEASE SHARE*** University of Brighton management have announced today that they ‘give notice of termination of all collective agreements’. This is a fundamental erasure of workers' rights. Management have announced the termination of all contractual documents, which includes:
UCU members at Brighton University face the threat of derecognition. We have called an emergency rally tomorrow at 1:15pm.

If you haven’t seen any of Jim‘s work, you really should pop in, especially if you are just up in the region for the great North run. I love his work and have several of his prints on my wall; there are several prints featuring the run so why not buy one to celebrate the occasion 
My Studio is open today, even though I’m normally closed on a Sunday. To make up for last couple of days I’ve been away, & I do need to catch up on a couple of commissions.

Have you recently called an ambulance (UK)? (note for US citizens ambulances are free here, courtesy of the magnificent NHS). I am helping a friend revise for a viva and am sending her daily mini scenarios& she responds via voice note as she would in the exam. Please send me your mini scenarios

I once did an input to a conference which I delivered via interpretive dance
You know...I often made the offer for interpretive dance as a deliverable for some of my assignments for the past 10 years (instead of a paper, a presentation, or a speech, or an exam), but no one ever took me up on it...🤔
Instead of text-based responses from students, all professors should now assess student learning by having them do interpretive dance. AI could never...

Well, it’s good, but it reminds me so much of the time when I had to ring and tell both my sisters that my mother had died  I think when poetry opens the heart it can only be a good thing
