The Association for Canadian Jewish Studies welcomed about 200 guests last week to its annual conference at York University’s Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies. With 55 presenters from Canada and abroad, the gathering might have been the largest annual conference in the ACJS’s 50-year history.
