Governor Newsom just signed the No Kings Act.

Federal agents can finally be sued if they violate your rights as a Californian, just like any local or state officer.

More states are coming in 2027. 🏛️

Our report on prosecutorial independence is making the rounds — the Anti-Authoritarian Playbook covered it this week. Most criminal cases never reach trial, yet no index tracks this check on power.

Voters elect local prosecutors so power answers to the public. Our new report tracks where that's breaking down: DAs suspended, removal commissions, DOJ probes over lawful charging calls. Red states, blue states, same pattern.

Rachel Rossi knows speaking up about a weaponized DOJ has a cost. Her answer: transparency, modeled by local elected prosecutors who work in the open with their communities.

Newsom signed the No Secret Police Act. Then a loophole let a federal judge block it for ICE and Border Patrol.

SB 1004 closes that gap — same rule for every officer, state, local, federal.

Call Newsom. Tell him to sign it and finish the job.
