VICTORY: A federal judge sided with students & educators in a case we filed against OMB & Dept of Ed, ruling OMB lacked authority to use apportionments to impose politically motivated Executive Order policy directives. Now, DOE is required to make good on promises to spend funds before they expire.
Restoring funding for Congressionally mandated education programs
The lawsuit alleges that OMB's actions violate the Anti-Deficiency Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Constitution's separation of powers.
