Western Liberalism and the treating of every individual as sacred so fundamentally contradicts human nature at its core.

This is incidentally why "loving one another" is harder than it seems. We can profess to it all that we want but in practice we start doing things like "who's my neighbor" and "are we really sure they deserve it"
It is a sobering realization that even in the most ostensibly egalitarian societies we look for people to look down upon in an acceptable manner

It is worth noting that in the background of these numbers, Abbott has pretty much taken a sledgehammer to public schools. The voucher bill is especially cruel to rural districts. Kids literally don't have desks, let alone teachers. People are mad.
Most interesting thing here to me is how much these specific candidates are outperforming the generic ballot. Paxton really does seem toxic to some significant portion of Texas GOP voters
