a prominent film writer over on X was complaining about the lack of engagement they get here when they share articles. that person, imo, is not posting enough here to get a clear view of it. but even in my experience, despite getting more clickthroughs on Bsky, more conversation is generated on X.

Remember in the ‘90s with peer-to-peer file sharing how the RIAA would successfully sue for copyright infringement for every part of a song DLed by a different user as an act of infringement?

I knew some parts of WoW so well in the early days that I could sneak into lower black rock spire solo and kill the mob that had a chance to drop the plans to the arcanite reaper.
I still know the positions of all the camp-blocking ward spots in the original Dota2 map (which was substantially altered in later patches, as was the camp blocking/stacking mechanic)

Earlier, federal agents shot a protester in the eye. Vincent is an ER nurse and said he came to the protest at the ICE facility in South Portland after a shift. Other protesters called an ambulance for him, but he had to walk several blocks to meet it, due to the munitions still flying.
