Hi, y'all! After not writing a journal entry for a long while, I decided I wanted to write one about how I made my most recent art piece! (pictured below)
Go give it a read!

Colorful illustration of Fire Man from Mega Man as a horned, fluffy dragon with wings posing and looking angry while spitting blue flames. There are more blue flames in the background for decoration.

Mega Arcana: 11 - Justice
DLN-007 Fire Man

Had to sacrifice the imagery of the Justice card to include the guy who yells about justice. Go figure. Just pretend the two Changkey Makers are the scales. I quite like the background for this one.

Elec Man was originally built closer to his canon design, but decided to modify himself after seeing how humans in Mega City dressed.
Since then, he's taken great interest in fashion and wishes to share his expertise with his siblings. Almost none of them actually take his advice
Elec Man proposes the idea of Fire Man wearing a cashmere sweater. Fire Man is not amused and does his best to ignore him. It didn't work. He now wears the cashmere sweater against his will

Still trying to think of what my next art piece will be, so I created this rough diagram of my headcanons for Fire Man in the mean time.
Rough drawing of my version of Fire Man from Mega Man in front of a checkered background. Text around him explains how this design differs from the canon one. The text makes mention of his kind eyes, how he can swap his busters for hands, and how his build is a little more chubby than usual. In the corner is a diagram that shows how his head smokes when he's calm, but spouts fire when he's active.

HOW DID I MANAGE TO PUT THEM IN THE WRONG DAMN ORDER

C’maaaahhhnnnnnnn!

Anyway here’s a bonus Mega Man 1 piece that never does very well
Digital illustration based on Mega Man 1 for the NES. The titular Mega Man does his classic pose on the right with a blue square background, shining in the light, determination on his face as Dr. Light and Roll look on in concern and fear from two small boxes on the left. The six reprogrammed Robot Masters continue the small boxes down the left of the image, each of them with a different expression, from top to bottom: Cut Man, Guts Man, Elec Man, Fire Man, Bomb Man, and Ice Man. Art by me circa 2020 or 21 I believe.

Some much older #MegaMan fanart to finish out the celebration day of MM’s 37th anniversary! I really can’t stress enough how much I love this series.
A digital portrait of Metal Man from Mega Man 2 in extremely stark lighting. He is being lit very brightly from the right side and has receded into a deep red shadow on the left side. A digital portrait of Ground Man from Mega Man & Bass, hand held up in warning against the viewer. His body is made out of treads and drills and he maintains a fairly even set of earth tones throughout his design. His name and model number are displayed in the top left corner. A digital portrait quite similar to the previous Metal Man one but featuring Fire Man from Mega Man one in intense direct light while be surrounded by high flames on all sides. His eye glints as he looks angrily at the viewer, and his head vent spews raging fire from the top. A large “R” appears on his chest for “Dr. Right.” A collection of small digital portraits of different Mega Man characters as suggested by my followers on Twitter at the time. Splash Woman (a boss from Mega Man 9)poses with her laser trident weapon in the first. Spark Mandrill (a boss from Mega Man X) rages surrounded by lightning in the second, Strike Man (from Mega Man 10) prepares to swing against a pitcher in a baseball stadium in the third, Punk.EXE (from Mega Man Battle Network 3) poses dynamically with his stretching arms zig-zagging in and out of frame in the fourth, Shade Man (from Mega Man 7) mugs for the camera knowingly in the fifth, and Teisel Bonne (from Mega Man Legends) cheeses viciously while holding a powerful refractor gem in his hand in the last.

Happy (Late) Valentine's Day!
Very pink illustration of Fire Man and Elec Man from Mega Man holding each other and looking intently into each others' eyes. They both are holding ice cream bars whose design corresponds to the other's head. Behind them is a tiling heart pattern. Elec looks close to his canon design, but a little more muscular. Fire Man looks a little more different, sporting a floral Hawaiian shirt and a spiked collar choker. He also has a more chubby build.

Fire Man is flustered by something Elec Man said. Cut Man has fallen out of the tree and on top of Ice Man. Mega Man is still in the tree. Elec Man and Fire Man have finally noticed Cut Man and Ice Man in a pile on the ground. Mega Man checks to make sure Ice Man is okay. Cut Man is very mad at Fire Man and Elec Man, who are both visibly feel guilty. Elec Man bites his knuckle as he looks away while Fire Man covers his mouth. Mega Man gives them a death glare lmao

More Fire Man between big pieces.
Very cyan illustration of Fire Man from Mega Man posing and wearing a crop top that has the number 7 written on it. The background is of a beautiful photo of clear, crisp ocean water. The word "Fire" is written largely in caps on the left side of the image.

Ironically Fire Man is the first Mega Man robot I did out of the ones I've been posting, I just hadn't posted him yet. That doesn't mean he's any less special than the others! Since the new game was announced it's given me incentive to paint more!
