This isn't like, novel or profound, but I do find it helpful when faced with the enormity of the problems and the minuteness of one's own existence to remember that just trying to be a not-shitty person isn't a futile exercise no matter how much it can seem like that.

As is generally true, the world is made up of a lot of little things that katamari into the joy or misery we experience. Most things are neither caused nor solved by grand gestures, and as tiring and sucky as it is, that's life. It does however meant that even just sucking a little less is helpful.
This is a great example of one of the ways AI is actually going to endanger / kill huge numbers of people.
Shitty chatbots cause their special sort of brain rot to the people who package intelligence for our shot-callers. They take the bad ideas from there.

As is generally true, the world is made up of a lot of little things that katamari into the joy or misery we experience. Most things are neither caused nor solved by grand gestures, and as tiring and sucky as it is, that's life. It does however meant that even just sucking a little less is helpful.
