What happens when you yank your protagonist out of their comfort zone and drop them into the completely wrong story? Take your protagonist - whether they are a hardened noir detective, a burnt-out barista, or a cowboy and drop them into a setting where they absolutely do not belong. How do they survive? What do they say when the rules of physics (or magic) suddenly stop making sense? The Twist: Your main character must retain their original personality, job, and dialogue. Will they survive?
