A couple at Nairn Book Festival recognised my 2019 photo of their horse, Bessie, taken in remote Knoydart. Bessie has since died, making the encounter especially poignant. Seven years on, I never imagined the photograph would introduce me to the people who knew her. #ThePerimeterBook
