Finished up a pair of prickly pear cactus panels for the NM Prickly Pear Festival i’m vending at in a few weeks!! Been a big fan of these funky square frames i’ve been playing with. Really hope both of these find homes there!

finished my Horned Lizard panel for a returning client! I legit might make another one of these in another colorway, I think she turned out beautifully and I’m going to be so sad when she leaves.

Things i keep asking myself: how important is straight lines in glass work? I find myself actively fighting against straight lines and crisp edges. I just don't like the look of it and I don't like feeling that I Have to have straight edges to master this media?

Made it into a local professional development course for artists! I've never done something like this, it feels crazy to be picked to be amongst a crew of incredibly talented local artists. Looking forward to designing some new glass pieces for this program.

i didn’t get many pics from AWU but i did grab two of Jack making friends at our booth!! sooo much fun to run into other object partners and friends at a furry con. this is why we do it.

Never got around to making this raccoon in my portrait series. i’d love the opportunity to bring him to life but for now he can stay as a concept pattern.

Spent waaay too much money at my favorite glass store…. it was so much fun and I’m so excited to go home and unpack it all next week. by then i know i‘ll have forgotten everything i got so it’ll be fun to unwrap it all.

i finished up my final glass project and then cleaned and straightened my studio space. been too hot to work so i put it off for a while until this morning. i’ll be back in the studio mid august after awu!!
